this picture is actually in the morning... at 6am... not at night with moonlight.... i just thought that sounded cool... cuz im slick like that... ohhhh serrrved
Very unique piece. The way I personally see it, this work can be interpreted a number of ways.
For example, my first instincts and impressions tell me that it looks as though the guy has been
out partying, or causing trouble, or in order to keep with the title of the piece, "performing his
dirty deeds" all night long and has fallen asleep under the tree. That or has just woken up, Sat
up, and is contemplating the previous night. He looks worn out; tired like hes been busy.
Another thought I had about this is maybe the guy has been working all night and has returned
to his favorite spot in the world to sit and reflect on where his life might be heading, or to think
out some of his everyday stress as the sun rises in the background and gives him a sense of
inner peace to banish the turmoils of everyday life.
It is odd how a photo can show so much with so little. I gathered these thoughts mainly from the
glimpse of this picture. A picture is worth 1000 words, especially if well taken. Youve heard my
words. It's not 1000, but its definately my opinion. Great piece of art. Nicely done.

Hey, this is one of the finest photographs I've seen in a long time. I can't find one thing I would change...I love the color (nearly a sepia effect, with the vertical lines). The composition is perfect, with the right angle along the tree offset by the figure, who links the tree with the ground. Even the title is stunning, because a first glimpse at the photograph suggests it was taken during the day, or at sunrise..but then the viewer reads "moonlight" and and has to focus on the picture again and reconsider it from a completely different perspective. The phrase "devil in the pale moonlight" would be cliché in any other setting, but here it seems refreshed by this great photograph, and vice versa.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
